Dr. Brian Burnham

dr-brian-burnhamDr. Brian Burnham is a 1985 graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been the owner of Perry animal Hospital since 1996, after ten years of practice in Newnan, Georgia. Dr. Burnham has focused exclusively on small animal care his entire career. His professional affiliations include the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association and has served on the board of directors for the South Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. Locally, he is an active member First Baptist Church in Perry, as well as the Perry Rotary Club and the Perry Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Burnham is also a member of the Perry Downtown Development Authority which has as its mission to serve as a catalyst for economic growth and development in Perry’s Downtown District. Dr. Burnham and Perry Animal Hospital are proud of their involvement with several of the local rescue organizations such as Houston County Humane Society and Star Bright Rescue. He is married to Beckie, and they have three children, Daniel, Allison and Thomas. In his leisure time, Dr. Burnham enjoys outside activities such as hiking, biking and kayaking.

Dr. Amanda-Jo King

amandaDr. Amanda-Jo King is a 2011 graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She recently moved to Warner Robins and got married to her husband, Brett, who is in the Air Force. She previously practiced at a mixed animal hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. She is excited to be in the area and to be a part of Perry Animal Hospital team. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and going to Crossfit.

Emily is a 2013 graduate of PIMA Medical Institute in Renton, Washington with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. She is planning on specializing in Animal Dentistry within the next few years. She moved to Perry in 2014 with her son Malachi. Outside work Emily enjoys raising and showing her Champion Dobermans. Besides her Dobermans, she also has a Boston Terrier and a rescue kitty that share her home. Emily belongs to the Middle Georgia Kennel Club and Macon Kennel Club



Nikki is a 2013 graduate of Fort Valley University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. She completed her clinicals at University of Georgia. She is also a certified weight coach through Purina. Even though she works primarliy with small animals, she has a strong interest in lab animals and exotics. She has 4 dogs and 3 cats and loves to spend time outdoors when she has free time.
